Moreno comes from a cycling family. His father and brother both raced. Moreno took up the family sport when swimming no longer held his interest. Moreno is fascinated by the human body and imagines he would be a physio-therapist if he weren’t a professional cyclist.

Earliest cycling memory?
When I went with my dad to the first cycling practice ever. I immediately I fell in love with the sport, with the gang playing around just sprinting. That's my first real cycling moment.
Favorite school subject?
Math and science
What would you be if you weren't a cyclist?
I'd like to be a physio-therapist. Something like this, something having to do with the human body and helping people.
