“I understand that the mission of a WorldTeam is extremely difficult, but I am ready for that. I will do my best to make the best use of my own strengths and contribute to the success of EF Pro Cycling.”
Soccer was Hideto Nakane’s main sport growing up, but once he picked up cycling at 18, there was no looking back. Nakane’s most recent accomplishment came at the Tour de Langkawi, where he took the win on stage 6. He also had an incredible performance at the Japan Cup in 2019 and finished in an impressive 6th place. While Hideto loved growing up in Nagoya, Japan, he also feels very connected to the country of Italy. His favorite Italian riding spot? The iconic Stelvio Pass.
