Alice joins EF Education-Oatly this year with five seasons of pro racing already to her name. She enjoys seeing the progress in her racing and training day after day, year after year as she works toward her goals. This year, Alice wants to start gaining experience as a leader in select races and to see what kind of a racer she becomes. She loves a hard day of attritional racing, even more so if it is in the Ardennes.

Life as a bike racer has taught Alice that race programs and tactics can change in an instant, so she’s learned to be flexible in order to adapt to the situation.

Because fueling is so important as an athlete, Alice likes to have fun preparing her meals and loves to get creative in the kitchen. She enjoys preparing tasty meals and ride food, but her current project is mastering the traditional Sunday roast dinner.

Road and gravel, Axelle can race it all. This is the 29-year-old’s first season with the squad and she’ll race a mixed program.

Axelle was born into a cycling family in Reims, France. Family bike rides were a routine occurrence but, at the time, they felt obligatory rather than joyful to her. She continued to ride over the years while she took up other activities like dance and ultra running. It was only when she met her partner and they started to train together that she fell in love with cycling. She hasn’t looked back since.

She focused on gravel for the last two years, picking up wins at the French gravel national championships and Gravel Burn where she also won four stages. She particularly enjoys big races that pull an international field.

Axelle knows that the way she has dipped in and out of cycling over the years means her cycling background is atypical, and that’s exactly why she was initially drawn to EF Education-Oatly. For Axelle, it’s important to take her work seriously without taking herself too seriously and she knew that this squad would be a great fit.

It’s hard to pin Cédrine down. She is from France but often trains in Andorra, though she spends a lot of time traveling around Europe in her van in search of adventure (surfing in Portugal is one of her favorites). She prefers spontaneity to plans. You’re more likely to find Cédrine out on the dance floor than going to bed early. She is a dreamer, but she also takes action.

In her first year on the squad, Cédrine made an undeniable impact. She finished in an impressive eighth place at the Tour de France Femmes. After strategically moving up on the GC in the opening days, an ill-timed crash on the final stage meant the overall podium slipped out of her grasp but Cédrine continued to race with all of her heart right up to the finish line. Cédrine won the French time trial national championship, taking her first elite title. She finished in fourth place at Liège-Bastogne-Liège and on the overall classification at the Vuelta a España, narrowly missing out on the podium in both races.

Cédrine is a natural leader and is equally happy to be the team’s designated leader or to support her teammates. Her confidence and race savvy make her an ideal teammate.

Cédrine is very close with her family and loves to spend time with them. Lucky for her, they started a fan club and often travel around Europe to watch her race. Keep your eyes peeled for a group of fun-loving fans singing and dancing in yellow t-shirts.

When the day comes that Cédrine retires from cycling, look for her tending a flock of sheep somewhere deep in the mountains.

James Shaw loves the places that his bike has taken him, the people he has met because of cycling, and the life lessons he’s learned through the sport. But what does he love most about cycling? Racing.

With five grand tours now in his legs, the 29-year-old British climber is gunning for a great 2026. He’ll take every chance he can get to show what he can do on the sport’s biggest stage. James’s journey to the top hasn’t been easy. After his first few years as a pro, he couldn’t find a contract and had to go back to the sport’s second division. He considered quitting to become a train conductor, but with the support of his family and friends, James stuck with it and earned another shot in the big leagues after a number of strong stage race performances. Since joining our team in 2022, he has evolved into a loyal super domestique, who can get over the hardest climbs to help his teammates. Always willing to pull, he hasn’t pushed his own ambitions aside.

James earned his best results so far out of breaks at the 2023 Tour de France, where he finished fifth and seventh on tough mountain stages. When he gets his chance, he goes all in.

He splits his time between Andorra and England’s Peak District. When he is home, James resets by taking his dogs for long walks on the moors and riding with old clubmates. His racing and training schedule is very busy, but whenever he has time, James hitches a trailer to his bike and goes bike packing. He also enjoys riding motorbikes and going off-roading in the old 4x4 that he refurbished.

Jardi van der Lee made his WorldTour debut with EF Education-EasyPost in 2024. Turning pro was a dream come true for him and he was determined to make the most of his chance.

The year before, the Dutch talent was working in a supermarket to fund his racing adventures in the Dutch peloton. A number of breakthrough results caught our scouts’ eyes, including a fourth-place at the Orlen Nations Grand Prix. We gave Jardi a shot and he fit right in, riding a strong rookie season in support of his teammates.

Over the past two years, he has always been willing to learn and pull on the front of the peloton. From the Tour Down Under to Paris-Roubaix to the Italian fall classics and Japan Cup, Jardi soaked in all of the knowledge and experience he could.

He finished his first grand tour at the 2025 Vuelta a España.

Jardi knows he has got the power to climb with the best in the biggest races. He was one of the top e-racers on the planet.

There is a lot more to bike racing than power, however. Jardi is learning fast and ready to make his third pro season on the road his best yet. With his talent and work ethic, there’s no limit to what Jardi might do.

Racing runs in Lukas Nerurkar’s genes. Cycling was never the obvious choice for Lukas, however. He grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where his dad – Olympic marathon and 10,000 meter runner Richard Nerurkar – moved their family after he had hung up his racing flats. He’d always trained in Africa and loved the atmosphere. Lukas’s mom Gail was a runner too. His sister Almi was soon bounding in their footsteps. She became a runner as well. But as soon as Lukas started riding bikes, he knew that cycling was the sport for him. When he was a kid, he and his dad would escape Addis Ababa’s clogged streets and ride up into the hills above the city.

Lukas just loved going farther and faster.

He has been doing that ever since. When he was seven, Lukas’s family moved back to England and settled in Brighton, where Lukas started racing with the Preston Park Cycling Club. He stayed with this local team all the way through the youth categories. By the time he was 16, he was ready to step up. He joined VC Londres in London and soon caught the eye of the racers in the club, who introduced him to Trinity, a British Continental team. There his talent blossomed. Lukas made a name for himself on the under-23 circuit racing all across Europe.

Before he had turned professional, he had already won stages of the Giro Next Gen and Orlen Nations GrandPrix and finished sixth on GC at Spain’s O Gran Camiño.

In 2024, he won his first pro race at the Tour de Kyushu Kokura Castle Criterium and later that same week, finished second overall at the Tour de Kyushu.

Although a crash took him out of action for much of 2025, Lukas still finished third at the Clàssica Terres de l'Ebre and sixth on the summit finish of the Andorra MoraBanc Clàssica.

A punchy climber, he is confident that he has what it takes to compete with the best. He will stay humble, but never lose his competitive fire. After all, he is Girona’s town-sign sprint and chess champion.

Watch out for Lukas Nerurkar in 2026.

Magdeleine soloing to victory at the 2025 world championships in Rwanda may have been a surprise for some people, but not to Mags’ teammates and loved ones. The consummate teammate, she has proven herself in the mountains in big stage races like the Vuelta a España Femenina, the Giro d’Italia Women, and the Tour de France Femmes, and one-day races like Strade Biance and Amstel Gold. Her enthusiasm for cycling drives her.

She was about eight years old when she learned to ride a bike without training wheels. That Christmas, she got a new bike and the following summer her dad took her on a nine-day, 1,000 kilometer bikepacking trip. She credits her dad – and that trip – with creating her passion for cycling that has guided her life ever since.

It led her to her first pro win in 2024, when she won the Trofeo Palma Femina in Mallorca. It later led her to her rainbow jersey, which she won at the world championships in Kigali.

Growing up in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Magdeleine rode with her local club. She raced mountain bikes, cyclocross, and road bikes as a teenager. She also learned how to track stand and to this day cannot resist the urge to track stand when she waits at red lights. As much as she loved racing in Québec, Magdeleine soon realized that if she wanted to continue to compete and grow as a rider, she needed to go to Europe. She earned a spot with the UCI’s World Cycling Center program where she spent two seasons soaking up every opportunity she encountered before she turned pro.

This year is Magdeleine’s fifth as a professional racer. Don’t take your eyes off her for a moment.

After a solid rookie season, Max Walker is ready to race into his second year with EF Education-EasyPost. The soft-spoken 24-year-old from the Isle of Man is fast developing into a key rider for us in the classics and has proven himself in hard stage races. He raced his first Monuments in 2025. Milano-Sanremo, the Ronde van Vlaanderen, and Paris-Roubaix whet his appetite for our sport’s biggest one-day races, but Max’s great dream is to ride the Tour.

He got into the sport at Dot Tilbury’s racing league on the Isle of Man when he was a child and heard all of the stories of Manx legends like Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh racing in the big leagues; the Tour is the biggest race of them all.

To get there, Max has moved to Europe to be closer to his teammates. He has great friends in Girona and Andorra and enjoys riding with them in the sun.

A versatile talent with a big motor, Max won two stages in the Tour of Japan, took a stage victory in the Sibiu Cycling Tour, and secured two podium places at the elite British nationals when he was still a U23. With the benefit of a year’s experience in the pro peloton, this is going to be a big year for Max.

Michael Leonard is excited for his first season with EF Education-EasyPost. The 21-year-old Canadian from Oakville, Ontario, wants to show what he can do in the hardest one-day classics and earn a spot to race his first grand tour. He is already going into his fourth season as a pro and brings WorldTour-proven power and experience beyond his years.

Our team’s attacking style and willingness to break from convention drew Michael to the squad. He’s been a fan of our team ever since he was a kid, when cycling first captured his imagination.

Michael’s own rise to the WorldTour was rapid. He started out competing in kids’ triathlons and got into bike racing at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre, a velodrome built near his hometown for the 2015 Pan American Games that had an excellent youth program. Once he got going, Michael began racing on the road as well as the boards. He excelled in Canada’s junior ranks and was soon ready to take on international competition.

He moved to Italy and immersed himself in the local cycling culture. Learning the language and how to live abroad while racing every weekend was tough, but Michael’s natural talent soon shone. Strong junior results earned him his first WorldTour contract.

Michael's step up to the big leagues was a big one, but he managed it well, despite breaking his hip at the start of his second season. He has continued to make steady improvements and become a valuable teammate.

Michael is more than a helper, though. He is the reigning Canadian time trial champion. In 2024, he won a stage at the Tour de l’Avenir—under-23 racing’s Tour de France—and has since earned very promising results in tough, hilly WorldTour stage races.

He is determined to make the most of his talent. To do that, he is concentrating on the day-to-day work of getting faster. He will seize every chance he gets to go on the attack this year.

When he is at home at his European base in Andorra, Michael enjoys playing the piano and reading history books. He wants to write his own chapters of cycling history with EF Education-EasyPost.

In Noemi’s first two seasons at EF Education-Oatly, the former Swiss national champion has started by winning her first race of the season: in 2024, she outsprinted the field at Trofeo Felanitx-Colònia de Sant Jordi to take the first ever win for the squad. Then in 2025, at the Tour Down Under, Noemi soloed to victory on the queen stage and then went on to win the overall general classification. She podiumed at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and had top ten results at Strade Bianche and Trofeo Alfredo Binda before she sprinted to third place at the first modern edition of Sanremo women. Noemi finished the 2025 season with another podium, this time at Tre Valli Varesine.

Noemi is a punchy rider who can get over hard climbs. She is still trying to find out where her limits lie.

She came to bike racing through her family. At first, her goal was simply to keep up with her older brother. Their dad was involved with a local cycling club and Noemi slowly grew more and more curious. When she was 13, she finished her first cyclocross race and was hooked.

Noemi turned professional on the road as a 19-year-old, leaving her full-time job caring for disabled people in a home. She is a two-time U23 Swiss time trial national champion but her heart belongs to the classics. Noemi loves a tough course, the more chaotic, the better. She is not afraid to be aggressive in the peloton and loves the excitement and energy of a hectic race.

Her ultimate goals are to podium in one of the classics and to develop as a stage racer. Noemi is only just getting started.

Stina joins EF Education-Oatly as the current time trial champion of Sweden. With two additional time trial victories in her palmarès, Stina wants to continue to strengthen her talents against the clock while also developing her abilities in the cobbled classics.

She got her racing start as a mountain biker and only participated in road racing when her mountain bike program began to field a road racing team. Stina has always thrived on strength and support from her large family and the experience of racing as a team felt the same to her. It wasn’t long before the Swede left mountain biking to dedicate herself to the road.

When she’s at home, Stina loves to spend time with her family. She and her three siblings live with their parents and their dog so the house is always bustling with energy. Stina enjoys cooking and getting her family’s feedback on new recipes. To relax, Stina goes for walks in the forest or swims in the lake near her home.

This season, Stina’s main goal is to continue to grow. The 20-year-old has been riding since she was just three years old and every year, she seeks to learn and develop, knowing that consistent, small improvements can lead to big results.

Mikkel Honoré loves to light up races in EF Education-EasyPost pink. The Dane is a very versatile rider. He has the horsepower and skill to shepherd our GC captains through a racing peloton during the hardest grand tour stages. A great climber with a strong finishing kick, who can hold his own on the cobbles, Mikkel has sprinted to stage victories at the Tour of the Basque Country and Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali — two of the hilliest stage races on the calendar. He is consistently at the front of the biggest races and always ready to do his turn for his teammates. We count on Mikkel to be there for us at crucial moments in grand tours and attack the finales of the great one-day races. He’ll go for more victories himself.

Mikkel lives in Switzerland, near the shores of Lake Como. He loves to travel and always has a book with him on the bus. Reading takes him away from the bubble of racing and training. He enjoys philosophy and novels and will always read up on the places where we race to better understand the people who live in the countryside that we pass through.

Mikkel is a great basketball fan. He and his wife will go watch a game together whenever they get the chance. He is also a polyglot and enjoys learning new languages.
