If you look at the results from Giro d’Italia stage 15, it would appear that the day was an unremarkable day for #PinkArgyle, but you watched as the action unfolded, you would have seen EF Education First – Drapac p/b Cannondale all over the front of the race until the final 40km.
Sacha Modolo was in the early move. Much of the rest of the team devoted itself to bringing down the gap to the large breakaway. Mike Woods countered Molodo’s catch, going on the offensive with around 65km left to race.
“This team is aggressive,” said sport director Fabrizi Guidi. “We look at the facts, and we arrive ready to fight. We see every day as an opportunity. We do not wait for the next day. This is our Giro’s squad DNA. Our goal is to win a stage. We don’t cry when we fight well but miss the result.”
