We’re pro athletes, cultural enthusiasts, and world travelers with a hunger for adventure. Everywhere we go, we bring the good vibes.
We are EF Education-NIPPO, a different kind of pro cycling team.
There are lots of stereotypes about pro cycling. How about we shatter them all? We are on a quest to show the world what cycling can and should be: Real human. Real adventures. Real fun.
We’re proud to be the longest-running U.S.-based team in the game, bringing 10-plus years of professional race experience and a passion for transforming cycling into a platform for global good. In 2018, we joined forces with EF Education First, the world leader in international education. Today our squad rolls deeper than ever, with 30 pro riders representing 15 nationalities and more than 52,000 EF employees supporting our every move.
This year, we journey beyond the boundaries of traditional road racing, and we’re upping the stakes with wild, new adventures on nearly every continent.
From the plains of Africa to the hills of Kansas to the storied cobblestones of Belgium and the Alps of France, we’re filling up our passports and putting our skills to the test. Our jam-packed season will lead us to the boldest dirt and gravel races on the planet, the prestigious WorldTour events you know and love, and the unexpected destinations that deserve to be on your travel radar.
At the end of the 2021 season, each of us will have ridden the equivalent of circumnavigating the globe, bringing the story of our team, our sport, and our mission to billions of people worldwide.
With a strong presence in more than 100 countries, EF provides opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to explore the world. We believe exploration is a transformative form of education, and that the more we seek out new places, the more we’re able to grow and connect. That’s why our team is focused on more than just racking up big wins; we want to highlight the positive power of people coming together to explore the world.
This season, we welcome our new partner NIPPO CORPORATION to our team. The business works toward a realization of prosperous societies through reliable craftsmanship, earning trust, passing on the art of its techniques, and challenging itself to achieve dreams. In addition to other projects, the company builds 90 percent of velodromes in Japan and has been a booster of cycling since the 1988 Seoul Olympics, with the ultimate aim to support and empower Japanese cyclists and cycling team staff, thus furthering cycling in Japan.
On and off the bike, we’re showcasing what it means to discover new destinations, disrupt comfort zones, and build an international community of riders, fans, and friends around the world.
